how many Miis can one console make? say if i have friends that wants to have their personal miis on my console, and can we all play together on the same console with our own miis?

Your friends can bring their Miis to on their Wii Remotes (each remote can store 10). I'm not sure if that brings your Wii Sports records though.

how do you store them on a remote?

Through the Mii Channel. Click the "Transfer Mii" button in the top right corner and you can transfer up to ten to each remote.
