Wife just picked 1 up @ target near her work after a customer came in saying they had them out on the shelf

that's the standard price, and i doubt it's gonna get any cheaper.

the wiimote alone is 39.99 so the game is essentially 10.00

seems pretty hot to me :p

i preordered mine, so I'm just waiting for delivery

Preordered mine from BB.

Today it said the order was backordered. Canceled the and went down to my local Target and picked it up.

Did the exact same thing but at Walmart. Kind of defeats the purpose of a pre-order if is backordered on the release date.

My local Target (west side Madison WI) had dozens of them. A couple of guys at work let me know and I went and picked one up.

what's hte point of fvcking pre ordering if they're just gonna back order the damn thing.

Wow...I can't believe I'm actually defending Best Buy on this one, but you're saying they suck because they wouldn't sell something before the date that they are allowed to?

Talk about sucking, I was at Fry's yesterday and they had a sign on the shelf advertising Wii Play with Wii-mote for 49.99 in front of tons of Wii-motes priced at 49.99. Keep in mind that there are no Wii Play boxes around. Several "mom" who probably had no idea of the difference between the 2 started picking up the Wii-motes. I can certainly see the confusion since the tag advertised a price of 49.99 and the Wii-motes on displayed were stickered at 49.99. I had to walk up to the counter and asked if they had any Wii plays in stock, at which point the guy pulled out a copy from underneath the counter. Luckily, the "moms" around saw and also asked for copies. Why Fry Electronics just doesn't put them all on the shelf is beyond me. Oh, this is Woodland Hills Fry Electronics by the way.

Are they ever going to sell this as just the game? I don't need another remote as I already have 2, and am not going to pay $50 for this game.

I want just the game as well. I'm sure copies will hit Gamestop soon.

Why doesn't Nintendo just sell the game for $14.99 or something?

Picked one up @ Target in Florrisant, MO (metro St Louis). I saw at least 4-5 left.

Everywhere I went today had about 10 copies. Walmart, Target, Gamestop. I don't think there is going to be a shortage on this.

I imagine they were saving the wii remoptes to bundle which is why I couldnt find 1 prior....

At least I saw two other Target stores that have Wii inside their glass locked shelves today when picking up the Wii Play Remote game.
Just a matter of time or days before we start seeing the Wii supplies are flooding the market, both e-retailers & b&m stores.
