My brother just got a WII and my GF and I are sitting here playing WII Sports. I was wondering if there are any other fun party style games that are easy to play and addicting. Gonna rent one at Blockbuster in an hour

Party games for the Wii?

Rayman Raving Rabbids
Warioware Smooth Moves

</thread>

[Edit] Some people have mentioned Super Monkey Ball. Although I own this game, I would say that while the mini-games are OK, stay away from any of the mini-games that require any depth perception, e.g. Trombone, Whack-a-mole, Paper Sumo Fighting.

Everything else is pretty good though. I really like the Monkey Battle or something where it's a dumbed-down Halo-typish game. That's fun. :D

Wario Smooth Moves is the only one I can think of. Even then, wii sports is a better party game I think. I bet you they will release some hella good mario party game later on.

What he said

Plus Super Monkey Ball, although I've never been a big fan of those games.

Ravings Rabbids is good if you will be drunk.

Wii Sports is the best all around. Try the training mode, especially the bowling training mode. We had people trying to get the high score on the middle bowling challenge (knock down as many pins as you can) all night.

Wario Ware is pretty funny - It's got a bunch of "Micro" games, that all move pretty fast....like ~5 seconds a game (being generous) but it's just something you've got to experience...the games are random and hilarious, and so are the different names that they give each way to hold the WiiMote (aka The Form Baton).

Good Times :D

Wii golf. Provided you have enough controllers it can be a very fun party game.

If you are comic book nerds, the marvel ultimate alliance game was fun for a group of my male friends to play through a bit. Rampage could be some good mindless amusement. It is like the old arcade game with some more monsters and levels. I found the games in Super Monkey Ball to be difficult to play because a lot of them are trying to move the remote in a horizontal plane to map to a 3d plane in the game that just doesn't seem to map out well. Definite "No's" are zelda and dbz. Those are all I can speak about from experience.
