Wii Beer Pong

I didn't realize AT was filled with a bunch of dorks who had never played beer pong before. I expected a bigger response.

I haven't found the frequency of beer pong participation to be a particularly reliable indication of courage/manliness here at the law school...

Anyways...who the fark cares what it looks like? It's beer pong on the wii...if the game plays like beer pong (ie you can accurately aim for a cup and make it) that's all I care about. It could be stick figures for all I care if it plays well. I really don't give a shit if they can faithfully recreate the reflection of the ball on the top of the beer as it goes in the cup. It also definitely needs customizable rules since people play different ways.

As mugs said, I don't know who brought up courage/manliness but I can say that being good at beer pong can definitely help you get laid. Let me know how that works out for you at law school.

It's all about stealing the 2's out of the pile if you're asshole. I was/am always a dick when I'm president. Gotta start it off with a waterfall and it goes downhill for everyone else from there.

 
Might be fun for a laugh, but I don't know if I'm going to really want to offer up my system/controllers/TV to a bunch of drunks, will probably stick to regular beer pong for that. Although it might be nice for small rounds with my roommates/close friends...

I'm not at all concerned what it looks like either, but seeing a true screenshot would give more of a feel as to how the game will actually play.

This game sounds pretty fun but like someone else said, I'd be weary of letting a bunch of drunks use my Wii. Close friends I'd trust though, we've played Wii drunk before and it's quite fun.

Never played it. Watched people at bigger parties, but when I'm with friends we shoot the shit and drink. None of this retarded beer pong bullshit. It's seriously stupid.
 
depending on how accurate the controls are, this could be a great tool to teach young/teen kids how to play Beer Pong. It's funny to watch a Beer Pong n00b go up against a pro, I saw one where the n00b didn't get a chance to do shit but drink because the other dude was like an Olympic Gold Medal level Beer Pong Athlete. I know they don't have it as an Olympic Event (sarcasm) but if they did this dude would have lead the US team to victory.

I love playing real beer pong, but I don't see this "beer pong" for wii being very entertaining at all. I'll probably give it a rent though.
