Wii and Ebay

Are ppl actually paying $400ish for just the retail Wii or are there alot of dead beat bidders? I am seeing ALOT of ppl with little to no feelback winning them. I remember back at the PS2 launch, alot of ppl got on there and bidded crazy on them but hardly ever paid.

Anyone sell a Wii here recently?

I just got $450 for one last week (including shipping). Some lady in New Joisey, she only had 2 feedback from a few years ago. There are alot of scammers, sure but they could also be people like this lady. She says she only uses ebay to buy the "must have" gifts when she absolutely cant find them anywhere else.

I do wish you could set a minimum feedback to bid above a negative number though. I think lowest you can set is -1

Lots of legit sales over $500 for me. Had one deadbeat last week, but it goes with the territory.

I am so tempted to sell mine. Barely used Wii, 4 controllers, 2 classic controllers and 8 games.

I never play it anymore but it does come in handy when friends are over.

I haven't sold much via ebay but I do have a wii I'm about to put up. What should I be looking out for/include in the description to keep clear of the trash bidders.

Turn on your buyer requirements under preferences, it will keep some of the undesireables from messing with your auction. For instance, you can block buyers who:

Are registered in countries to which I don't ship ( I normally do US/CAN only for the Wii)
Have a feedback score of -1 or lower
Have received 2 Unpaid Item strikes in the last 30 days
Don't have a PayPal account

Reason for the price of Wiis on ebay; probably has something to do with the 3 people already sitting in line at the toysrus I went to at about 7pm tonight
