I thought that Bridge works by wirelessly linking 2 networks by a wireless link. Each network has its own subnet.

And Repeater mode simply extends the existing wireless rage, utilising the existing subnet.
WDS is similar and uses the same subnet but non-overlapping ip range.

If i am correct, i am desperately trying for months to set up repeater/WDS mode to no avail.

Can anyone please assist.

Thanks!

WDS is the current buzz for End-Users Repeaters.

Classical professional Bridge is an Access Point that connects to another Access Point in Bridge Mode.

When Access Points in d this Bridge mode, Client Wireless I.e. Wireless computers cannot connect to them. It is used to Bridge Wirelessly two Networks.

Consumer Bridge (aka Game Box Adaptor) is Wireless Client card with general drivers embedded in the Firmware. Thus they can be installed on None computer device, like Game Box, and would work as si since they do not need drivers installation.
