WiFi + Vista random loss of Internet connection

I just built a new computer (E4500, Abit IP35-E, Airlink 802.11g) with Vista Home Premium installed, and I'm getting random loss of Internet access. The WiFi tray icon still says I have Local and Internet access, but I can only see the other computers in my network and not the the Internet (for instance, Firefox will not be able to resolve any hostnames). My other computers, both wired and wireless (but all running XP) have no issues whatsoever.

The only way to solve the problem is to disconnect the WiFi and reconnect, and this works all the time. This issue doesn't happen that frequently, maybe 1-2x a day, but it's annoying enough that I wonder if any of you have encountered the same problem.

It's entirely possible it's the Airlink card (i got it cheap from a Black Friday sale), but again, I'm only losing connection to the Net, not my home network.

Any of you guys have any ideas?

Very similar problem here with the same abit AirLink card. Perfect Local connection, no Internet access, not even with a connect/disconnect or reboot. It worked perfectly just a few days ago.

Is there a common solution/suggestion for this?

Thanks.
