Wifi Router only taking one connection

So we always had a linksys wrt54gl 1.1 with tomato 1.27 on it, and it was always buggy but we never cared since we only ever needed one connection.

And now i just bought an android phone and it seems to work really eraticly, generally after i change the password it'll work but then my brother can't connect with his netbook, and the other way round.

So i updated the firmware to 1.28 and the problem is still here.

Btw i only concluded that it only takes one connection at a time out of what was happening, so it could be somthing else with "alike symptoms"
