Question WiFi poe

I’m trying to get home security cameras
I would like to get poe cameras so I don’t need to worry about power and batteries
My question is can I have the nvr with poe ports in the attic plugged into a device that would connect to my home network wirelessly? The nvr is from the camera manufacturer so it has the poe ports for the cameras but it connects to the network thru Ethernet cable but I don’t want to run a cable from the attic to my router in the house.
So I was thinking I can get a wireless device with a Ethernet port and connect the port to the nvr with cable and connect to the home network thru the WiFi signal. Would this device be a switch, hub, router, etc?

Options:

1. Wireless repeater with LAN port will usually do what you want

2. Wireless bridge

3. Router that supports ddwrt and set it up as a client bridge

Yes, you can do that, but keep in mind anyone with a wifi jammer could limit your ability to see what's on your nvr.

Luckily, your cameras would still be wired and capture the perps. Wireless cameras are easily defeated.
