WiFi PDA's how fast?

I haven't tinkered with WiFi on a PDA for a while, got frustrated because it was so slow (Toshiba e740 & Dell Axim with CF WiFi card). Are the newer WiFi PDA's any faster/less painful to browse the net with?

I'm looking @ the new Dell X30 & really tempted to give it a try...

240x320 resolution compare to my 480x320 resolution! I have a camera, voice recorder, and cool deisgn too. I don't know why you need that fast to run a program. there is nothing my pda can't run.

All PocketPCs have voice recorders
The Axim is $50 less (plus Dell's usual coupons and discount)
The Clie has a sh!tty digital camera with no flash or optical zoom...why bother
The Clie has no Bluetooth

Browsing the internet on my X3i isn't bad, at least speed-wise. I wish the X30s had VGA screens instead of the standard QVGA screen.

I would imagine those screens would kick the price up a notch. :/

I wonder how low the current top end pocket pcs' prices would drop once the new vga ppc come out.

axim price is really good, but I am happy paid $325 for mine when it first come out.

nx90 has a 2mp built in camera with flash built in, the image quality is good. the digital camera is sh!tty, that's why i rarely use it. it is actually fun when I can take a pic some someone right in front of them without they knowing it.

clie has no bluetooth? sony was the first one to put bluetooth in a pda. TG-50 was the second one that has bluetooth, my sister has been using that for well over a year. there is a bluetooth memory stick you can buy for any clies. at this point, I don't think you know anything about clie.

well, I am sure you like the 240x320 resolution screen.

LOL! I haven't seen that pic. Man, that would suck! You spend $200,000+ on a Ferrari and think you are the sh!t, and a freakin' McLaren pulls up next to you. DAMN!

Released today and it COMPLETELY ownz every other PocketPC on the market in speed. If it weren't so damn ugly, I'd trade in my 4150 for one:

Is browing the web really that bad on a PDA? I plan on getting a refurbed X3 Advanced for jotting down notes and for email. (School has a pretty decent radius WiFi Lan)
