wifi keeps disconnecting

hey all,

every time i restart the pc, wifi wont connect automatically. then when trying to do it manually, i get unable to connect error. the only way to get internet again is to restart the router while pc is on.

every other wireless device (laptop, phones etc) connect with no problem before i turn on my pc. when i turn it on, nobody with wireless device can connect or even see the network.

is it my pc's fault, or is it that somehow router doesnt like my IP?

thanks

If everything else is working, then you either have a compatibility issue between the router and the PC's wireless adapter, or there's something wrong with the PC or its wireless adapter. Completely uninstall and reinstall the adapter to see if it makes a difference as it could be a driver issue. Also, make sure the PC's wireless antenna is not in a location where it is unable to get a good signal (i.e. not buried against the wall under a desk behind metal cabinets).

do you have a intel centrino wireless card by chance? the one in my wife's dell would do something like that and i had to replace it

card is TP-Link WN781ND.

it was working great, then i moved house and changed ISP and routers. everyone else who uses it works fine, but they use laptops/phones.
