Wifi Issue with WiiU

So I got the Wii U for my kids who are Mario fans ..

I'm trying like hell to get the Wifi to work without any luck .. Two access points are in reach and none is working .. Tried different kinds of Encryption without luck .. Even tried Push-button configuration and it fails too ..

I had this problem long time ago with another device and at that time it was working when the access point was password-free ..

I don't want to keep the access point without password .. I'm wondering why Nintendo had the Network adapter sold separately ?! Isn't LAN port a common sense !!!
 
I had a hell of a time getting mine to connect. After MANY attempts it finally associated. Fortunately it always works now that the initial setup is done.
