WiFi card problem

I just recently got my computer and it had the Asus PCE- N13 put into it. Now the box says Win7 compatible so I was happy. But when I try to use the WiFi all I get is a 1 bar. 2 if I'm lucky. My laptop would get full bars in the exact same spot the PC is now. I could use some help because I am actually a bit attracted by this. I mean it's so slow, I'm typing this on my Iphone
