Ok, have a wireless network comprised of many Cisco 1200 series AP's running LEAP authentication. I have a mobile cart (hospital environment) that only accepts wired connections and is running a proprietary OS.

I need to get a wireless bridge setup so that the cart can have access however I am running into issues since we use leap authentication. Does anyone know of a device that supports leap and can connect to our AP's to provide this mobile device with access

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that if you could reprogram a WRT-54G or Buffalo router with OpenWRT or DD-WRT they could both, with some linux command line voodoo, be programmed to use LEAP authentication and bridge the connection between the wifi and the ethernet ports on the device. Of course you'll need to be able to plug it in somehow. And then there is that voodoo to figure out - I tried doing a little googling and there were some decent leads. The dd-wrt forums are really good for this sort of thing.

i am unaware of any client mode wireless devices that support LEAP. other than a custom solution like acaeti stated, you could always put a small PC on the cart, authenticate via LEAP, and share the connection out to the proprietary device.

why are you still on LEAP anyways? unless you're running a VERY stringent password policy, it can be cracked quite easily...
