Wifi beating LAN???

I have a macbook pro that is connected to internet via Wifi - Dovado 4GR router - 4G modem (USB).
It is great, about 45mb/s down around8-10 down and 25 in latency.

Now, My pc (Win7 64) is hooked up via Ethernet to Dovado but it shows:
30 Mb/s down, 4-5 up and around 80 in latency.

In my world, cable should beat wifi consistently but apparently not in my case. Anyone able to clue me in before I lose my mind???

Are these Speedtest.net results? If so, are they using the same server? I've seen significant differences between servers, even within the same city.

45MB/s on (assuming) 11n is better than I have ever heard of. I'm not sure if it is even theoretically possible. Or you mean 45Mbps?

Ethernet can be slow, if wiring is bad.

Gotta compare apples to apples. Hook your macbook to ethernet and turn off wifi and try speedtest again. Win7 has a bunch of tcp auto tuning that is different than mac. Affects mainly speedtest results
