The BE900 can support wireless speeds of up to 24Gbps, which is less than Wi-Fi 7’s theoretical 40Gbps plus speeds....

How does this help of the max port speed is 10ge? This is what frustrates me with consumer gear. Rule of thumb is a client can get 70% of link rate anyway.

I thought I was being ridiculous when buying my GT-AXE16000 a few months back. I won't be upgrading again for at least five years, and by that time, Wifi may be obsolete altogether. Actual 5G cellular and/or satellite will eventually eliminate the need for 90% of consumer wifi.

I'm still on NETGEAR Nighthawk R7000 Router and very happy. I don't think I'll upgrade soon. Internet speed is 500/200 Mbps.
