Well if there is a contract, at least they'll get the posters taken down. But I'm not sure that that was a great career move for those guys.

hahaha, They sure didn't mind it when they got paid the 1st time. I see this getting thrown out of court.
If the contract said the ads would be up for a limited amount of time and the ads are still up, they'll win for sure.

Wow - that story wasn't what I was expecting. The models are suing because some of the ads are still up. What a bunch of retards - try thinking about the consequences of being in the ads instead of seeing dollar sign$. Now they just want more money...

I find it hilarious that the posters have been put up in police stations next to posters of real convicts.

those guys must be a bunch of fvcking retards. how the hell would any guy consider modeling for a "wife beater" poster as a good idea? too bad there arent any vengeful, abused housewives out looking for vigilante justice on those four. if there had been, they would have been nominated for a darwin for sure.

edit: i guess zoolander wasnt off reality that much about the intelligence of models...

what? lol. What school of thought did you come from? Barnum and Baileys? It's the life of an aspiring model/actor/actresses. Doing unwanted or very low key jobs to make money and try to get their name out there. Darwin has nothing to do with this and really, abused housewives have better things to do than to look for want ads of wife beaters. Stop being such a moron. Christ, you make Skoorb look like Einstein.

Heh, a bunch of dumb people posting in this thread. First, as IHYLN said, a job is a job. Is it dumb for someone to play an evil villain in a movie?
Second, it's a public service ad condemning domestic violence, so the intent is positive.

Hell, in some ways, this contract breach gets them more exposure, and it wouldn't surprise me if they end up getting more work now because of it.

Everyone sure it quick to gloss over the fact that there is actually a breech of contract going on. And it sounds like that is what the meat of the suit was about.

Of course the models want more money. Thats what models do, they get paid to have their picture up. I like to get paid for my job too.

Yeah, but the amount they are seeking is crazy. They are ass-holes for seeking that amount.

Agreed. But that doesn't mean that they will get that. Or that the whole thing should be thrown out of court.

What price would you put on incompetence and not being able to go to a bar to pick up chicks because everyone thinks you beat up women?

I agree that they should get paid for them breaking the contract.

But not eing able to go to a bar and pick up chicks because they think they are wife beaters is nothing but the models fault. Didnt they think of this before they signed on to be "wife beaters"?

IF they are getting rejected by women because of the ads then they have nobody to blame but themselves.

If the posters had only been up for their alotted time, people may not have noticed.

IF they had decided to pass on poseing as "wife beaters" they wouldnt have had to worry about it at all.

If humankind wasn't so f*cking stupid as to assume that everything they see on a billboard is true, there wouldn't be this problem either. :p

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to put my mugshot up with "Worth more money than Donald Trump and Bill Gates Combined" and see how many of these same dumb bitches fall for it.
