GL Filezz, having a child is a lot of work but I can't think of anything that has changed my life so much for the better.

Best of luck to you and your wife, I'm sure that's a difficult situation.

Idiots who don't want to care for a child have 5 of them with different men/women, pop them out left and right, when you have a couple who wants a child and will take care of the child properly struggle to have one.

How old are you and your wife?

it's always seemed absurd to me to see people spending tens of thousands of dollars on surrogacy rather than adoption.

Good luck with the donor. I hear it's hell on the body, but college kids need the money.

Someone could make a similar argument that it's absurd to put your body through 9 months of trauma rather than adopt.

It's completely natural to want your own biological child. I really can't stand it when people criticize those that use surragates or do IVF or fertility drugs for not adopting. Why don't they adopt?

OP, I feel your pain. My eldest son and his wife are in the same predicament. They went through the fertility treatments ... unsuccessfuly.

Unfortunately, adoption carries it's own risks. I was told that (locally) most children come from Columbia ... and that each is "special needs".

Personally I don't see the point in having your own children. To carry on a name or some bs I suppose? I'd be more likely to adopt some poor kid that needs a home and give them a shot at life before I would having my own.

Because adoption is just as expensive. Many people look at it, if they're going to spend the money, they want to have their own kids.

adoption is great but imo not equal to your own biological child. You won't have the experience of nurturing a miniature version of yourself grow up. You also risk that in 12-15 years down the road the kid saying, "you're not my real daddy"

it's easier to stick your dick in your wife (or girlfriend, mistress, etc) and pop out a baby than it is to go through the adoption process... but it's easier to go through the adoption office than spend tens of thousands of dollars in surrogacy.
