We have two single strollers and will be expecting our second child within the next month or so. We are going to be receiving a tandem stroller and was wondering if we should keep the two single (full size ones) or get rid of them. I think we should keep them but my wife wants to keep the single ones. I don't think we should because it is very unlikely either one of us would be without both kids at the same time. Either she has them both with her, I do, or we both do.

My wife is a packrat too. We have like 8 large trash bags of toys up in the garage for our daughter (that she has outgrown) and tons more in the toy room and family room. I want to donate them or give them away to people who can't buy their kids toys but my wife wants to keep them along with everything in our house. If I see something that we don't look at anymore or don't pay attention to, I just throw it away.

Why would you not keep them? So you can buy new ones when you realize that your kids aren't joined?

how old is your daughter? is she going to need to share a stroller for as long as the new born will need to be in a stroller? i'd keep at least one if not both, but i'm also a keeper of everything i "might" need.

Just buy a couple dog leashes that the families here always use on their kids. That has to be healthy for their emotional upbringing!
