Wierd Windows Problem

I recently downloaded an xvid movie and whenever i try to play, rename, delete , cut/copy it or even just get properties of it the explorer.exe process starts using 99% cpu and increasing amounts of memory, so i am forced to reboot. When i try to rename, delete, or cut it i get an error message saying that it is being used by another process. I downloaded it onto my secondary hard drive which was almost full at the time so that might have messed it up.

Is there any way i can fix this file or at least get rid of it?
