Wierd Wcpuid readings?

I have an asus p3v4x w/700 chip. When I use wcpuid, I get wierd readings. It tells me that I have a 8.32 MHZ processor and when I analyze it again it changes to 0 sometimes and different, but really low, processor speeds. Could this be a problem with the chipset on the mobo? THe chip is overclocked to 933 and at slower speeds I don't have this problem. I just want to know if it is the processor or the mobo. I am assuming that on the mobo the main chipset is next to the processor. There is a heatsink on it and I was wondering if it would help to reseat the heatsink. I read somewhere that the "signal generator" can give random problems. Anyone have a clue?
