Built the new rig back in the spring and this issue has been killing me ever since.
About 50% of the the time, when I push the 'ON' button on the front of the case, I hear everything spin up but the monitor gets no signal. Rarely, if I let it sit long enough, it will post and do it's thing just fine. Most of the time, it will just sit like that, with the fans spinning, but no signal. Normally, I do a hard reset and it works, albeit with the usual warning screen that the computer was shut down wrong. Recently, occasionally, it has gone past post but all I get is a blinking cursor, no keyboard control.
Other than this issue, rig works awesome, no problems.
I checked my internals and my processor and graphics card seem to be seated correctly with a brand new DVI cable plugged in (small thumscrews tightened down). Do I have a bum card or is there something else at play?
