Wierd Problems with Win2k

Ok I don't know if this is a problm with Win2k or my k62+ cpu, though I odn't appear to be having the problems in win98SE. Anyhow, after a kittke while using the computer my shift and ctrl keys will seem like they are locked. Such as instead of numbers I get symbols and all the letters are capped and when I am in something like excel when I click on a cell several cells will be highlighted. Or if there is more than one worksheet I won't be able to swith. If I select another worksheet tab all it does is highlight it, but not switch. Same for if I try to go to another prgram that is minimized on the task bar.

Plus, in my bios the cursor doesn't move freely. I have to hit the down arrow about 6 times for it to move down, the enter key 6 times to select soemthing, etc. Any ideas?

easiest thing to try, before looking into software conflicts or anything, is swapping the keyboard-got a spare?

can you be sure this doesnt happen in 98-might it be a problem but less noticable?

umm, what's a "kittke"?
