Wierd Problem

Long story short, I built my new rig. C2D 6400, giga 965p-s3. I cant get the lan connections to work. I've been thru all the trouble shooting I know. It has onboard lan, which I cant get to work. Plus, I disabled that and used my old NIC and i dont even get a blinking green. I installed current drivers on both NIC's and the on board with no luck. It;s not my ISP or any of my cables. Also the cards were recognized by the computer, just not connecting. Any ideas?

Try using a new cable or a different port on the hub, or switch, whichever you are using. Also, you can try reinstalling the TCP/IP protocol on the adapters just in case.

either way, test both the nics w/ the ping loopback or ping 127.0.0.1 in a cmd prompt.
