I have a chaintech geforce fx 5200 and the fan is screwed up. It is scraping on something as it is spinning. I tried to nuge it so that it wouldnt hit anything. Can you think of any solutions, maybe just take the fan off and rely on the heatsink.

I'd RMA if it was under warranty. Replace the fan if not. I'd worry that you'll eventually fry it w/o one.
