Hi,
I had a new problem arise last night using my Belkin router, it has worked fine for the past eight months. People on ventrilo can hear me talking fine, but I cannot understand them. It is very garbled, it seems to be lagging out badly. Games and internet surfing work fine.
As far as I can tell the only thing I did was restart the router two nights ago, but it kept all the settings. Since then this problem came up. If I disconnect the router and plug my PC directly into my modem Vent seems to work fine.
I assume this is an issue with port forwarding but I can't seem to get it to work.
The routers client list is displaying my PC twice, with two seperate IPs (192.168.2.2 and 192.168.2.4)
I can't really figure out whats going on. My PS3 and 360 say that it is using NAT Type 2 or 3, which seems to cause problems with applications like vent. Can I change this back to Type 1, if so, how?
ANy help would be really appreciated!
