Wierd Problem With School Internet?

Well all of a sudden i am downloading at .3k instead of 400k. My room mates still get regular speed. Our school does have a limiter if you go over, im not in that though. Any ideas what would be causing this?

Make sure you have a good patch cable. Also try connecting your computer through the connection your roommate is using.

Well if you abused your bandwidth you might be capped. Check your ethernet cable. Try bringing your computer over to your roomates ethernet port and plug it in and see what happens.
