Wierd Problem with new 2.1 Speakers

I just installed Logitech z-2300 2.1 speakers yesterday and I can't get them to work properly. I plugged them into the line out on my Audigy sound card. The sub and left speakers seem to be normal. THe right speaker is very very loud all the time. Even when I set the volume to zero the right speaker still puts out sound at a high volume. Any ideas besides the obvious one that it's broken?
