Wierd problem with 9800 GTX+

I have tried various drivers versions. I can run F@H on it 24/7, and it gets normal ppd (4150, a little low) and rivatuner works (but I don't get the menu to set the fan speed on any 9800 GTX+ or 260 gtx), but when I fire up nvidia system tools, it locks up and says nv_disp4 (or something like that) is in a loop or something to that effect.

Any help here for a new video mod ?

Are you only trying to change fan speed on the 9800GTX+? If that's all you need, along with light overclocking, maybe try EVGA Precision, which is just a lite version of RivaTuner. You should be able to get similar functionality out of RT by going with low-level tuning for fan control.

Nvidia system tools, which I believe used to be Ntune have always been a bit bloated. I've always found it extremely sluggish, as it pulls all the various gpu/cpu/mobo/memory info. In the past, I've found just letting it try and load, and literally not do anything else would get it to open up, but doing anything else (like opening an IE window) would often cause it to freeze. I haven't used Ntune in well over a year though.

That works, but only for one of the 2 cards, I need to select each card like rivatuner does.
