<< Most ATX Power supplies provide a small amount of current to the Mobo when the system is off. Nightowl is correct in saying that it's to do with WOL - The network card needs enough power to keep the link alive so it can listen for a packet telling it to wake up. You need a small 3-pin cable going from the NIC to an appropriate header on the Mobo for it to work, so dont worry about your PC suddenly turning on unless that cable is there... >>
Thanks, It's kind of annoying cuz it keeps my router lights on as well. But I have my WOL disabled so shouldn't it keep it off? my old mobo with the same PSU & NIC didn't do this before.
