Wierd problem - Bug in the system

Wierd problem, I bought a viewsonice monitor it's very nice. Then one day i noticed a little tiny crawler crawling around on the screen. I tried to flick it away but i couldnt, then i realized it was INSIDE the screen. I played with it for a while, i would move my mouse on it and it would get scared and run away. But noow it died, right smack near the center of the monitor. WTF??? it's bothering me, it's like a dead pixel but not! I tried to unscrew the back of my VX2025W but I cant get the plastic casing off, nor is there any place for me to get access into my panel!!! I called viewsonic and they ACTUALLY LAUGHED at me! They said they'd "forward" my complaint to corporate to see if it is covered. I'm guessing that it's not. Anyone got solutions? Anyone know how to take apart a flat panel without damaging it??

Please help!

hmm. funny to hear yes. but not so funny if its your lcd monitor.. it sounds like it died inside of the screen part, even taking apart the monitor would just make it able for you to replace the screen, but you cant physically open that lcd panel which is where it died to flick him off or something. they arent going to rma a monitor for a dead bug or a pixel that is bad. if you had like a dozen dead pixels, or lines, or the backlight went bad they would rma it. but that still doesnt get rid of the bug stuck in your lcd, probably when it was made/pressed together, etc..

They probably have a policy similar to neweggs pixel policy. They will only replace it with 8 or more dead bugs in your monitor. 😛
You better hope that little sucker laid some eggs!
