Then I put in a diiferent hard drive and unplugged my current one and then i booted to it and i still have problems!!!!

from google, for the icq error:

ICQMUTL.DLL stores codes for user data in your ICQ database (country U
live in, language U speak). The format of the database usually changes
between ICQ builds & ICQ versions. So, in a data file, at position number
123 in a record, it might be a particular data type in one build or
version (eg. an alphabetic character) and in the next build or version
that same position in the record might be a numeric data type (long
integer or something). So if the new program (build/version) tries to read
a string like "abc" into a number field, then --- kabooom!
So, if this is what happened (ie. that U uninstalled one build/version and
installed another one without running the database converter, then the ICQ
code would not be able to handle it.
Run the database converter (DBCONVERT.EXE) and see if ICQ starts up ok
after it completes.
(Note: if U have registered multiple users/owners, do this for the one
that ICQ will boot to and if it works ok, then shut down ICQ and repeat it
for the other registered users).

If the problem recurs, then download ICQ from a reliable site (ICQ, ZDNET,
TUCOWS) and install it again (some sites don't seem to have all the codee
that is needed, or its been hacked, or God knows what else).

Turns out it was my audigy xgamer doing all of this.
Does anyone know why this would happen all of a sudden or how to prevent this?
I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and know my pc works fine.

I am worried this will happen again.

Thanks for your help
