Wierd observation with taking Centrum

Ok, about 8 months ago I started taking Centrum. A short time later I started noticing my feet started to stink when I take my shoes off. Last time that has happen was when I was 12 or so. So after a while I stop taking the vitimans because I ran out. When I stop taking them, my feet stop stinking. I didn't take notice to this pattern at all until I started taking Centrum again, and my feet started to stink again. Does anyone know why this is happening? Is it just a cowincident? Also, is there anything I can do where my feet will stop stinking?(besides washing them excessivly now)

Body odors come from the byproduct of bacteria living on your body. They live off your skin secretions, which is obviously more healthy when you take Centrum. 😉

Bacteria are what cause body odor, and they thrive in warm, moist spots (mouth, feet, and under arms). The body can only absorb so many vitamins, minerals, etc- the rest it excretes, usually through the urine. It could very well be that the sweat in your feet (though maybe not detectable, is indeed there) contains excreted vitamins and are helping them thrive. My advice is:

If you think your diet has all the vitamins and minerals, don't take any supplement- it will just tax your kidneys and not help you.

If you do think you need a supplement, cut back a bit- take one every other day, or half of one a day. Or you could even get kid vitamins- they're not as potenet and usually come in pretty good flavors.

Finally, you could add a little talc to your feet at the start of the day to reduce moisture, and therefore bacterial growth.

I had a BO problem when I tried taking Garlic suppliments. It made my sweat very stinky. Which Centrum product are you taking? Is it the "Performance" version?

Anyway, the way to find out which suppliment in Centrum is making you stink is to start taking individual vitamins and minerals one by one. When your feet start to reek, there's your problem 🙂

<< i take centrum, havent noticed my feet stink any more then usual 😉 >>

I used to take some vitamins that I had to take twice a day, four pills a day. That stuff cost like $25/month and my parents thought it would be a good idea if I took them considering the crappy eating habit I have. I immediately noticed I was peeing out much darker than usual. I figured I wasn't absorbing anything and draining it down the toilet...
