So i just got a pny 9600gt. Oddly if i connect my 24" monitor (LG246wp-bn) to the primary port, the image is distorted like it is not detecting the monitor right with the 9600gt driver.
if i use the "default vga" driver, i can use all the resolutions correclty and it fills the whole screen and looks right. with nvidia driver it is weird. for example 1920x1200 is shifted over so only about 2/3 of the screen is showing.
so i dont think my card is defective since it works with the default vga driver. it also works fine on the 2nd DVI port.
anyone else run into this? I tried both the current drive and beta one in xp.
