When my roommate plays counter-strike on his laptop (winbook J4 2.4 ghz), after about 1/2 of playing counter-strike, the system beeps six times and then restarts, and when it does restart, it takes a long time to load windows. I don't know much about laptops, so I can't help him very much. Do any of you have an idea why is laptop does this?

Edit: he's using a AC power while playing CS.

Which J4 model is it (G730, 732 Phoenix Bios or G731 AMI Bios)?

If it is the G731 with AMI Bios, then 6 beeps means a keyboard controller
chip is bad.

Another possiblity would be that the CPU needs to be reseated.

it's the G731 model. Is there anyway I can check the computer to see if the keyboard controller chip is actually broken? And how do i fix it?

Plus I thought beep codes only came during the startup?
