I have a wierd monitorproblem.
The monitor is a Trinitron 17" yakumo and has been working great for about 3-4 years. Sometimes, especially if I accidently bump my leg into the table it stands on, it looks like its going out of focus. The picture gets kind of zoomed in and all the desktop doesnt fit any longer. I've noticed when theres alot of white on the screen it goes even more out of zoom. What I have done to 'solve' this is that I have a black backgroundcolor in windows and when this happends I push the desktop-icon to minimize all apps så the screen gets almost completly black. Then it 99% of the times locks back in the normal position. Sometimes however the screen goes all black. Looks like the whole screen minimizes to a small vertical line in the middle of the screen and then dies. Then I have to turn the monitor on and off until I get it going again (and that can take some time and alot of tries).
Perhaps its time to get a new monitor, but I just want to check if anyone else have had this problem and perhaps knows what to do. Since I'm on a pretty tight budget at the moment I rather spend alittle money to have a bad connection fixed inside, than buying a brand new monitor.
