Wierd Monitor thingy...

Thanks for takin time to read this.

Now usually when I power down or restart, my monitor briefly Flashes a "no signal" message box on the screen. this is all good.

Problem is now it seems to do it when I load programs. Now when the normal black screen hits before load I get the no ginal message. The monitor comes back but it is delayed (ie I can hear game sound before I see the visuals).

Also it did this when I restarted and It passed the "hit del to enter bios" thing before the monitor came back up.

Itll also do this when exiting a game between exiting and loading windows...

This is on a new system...it did not do this at first, but now it does..

Is it a vid card thing or a monitor thing?

Any thoughts or suggestions warmly welcomed.

Thanks!!!!

Check to see your refresh rate isn't screwing up. What are you running windows default refresh rate as? You may want to use nVidia's built-in driver Refresh Rate Override for applications. It sounds to me like it's something with your monitor not syncing correctly.

Well in my nvidia CP it is set to 60 hz, how can I have it overwrite win default?

Also, at first the monitor was fine, a day later it started doing this...
