Wierd Modem problem

Well, the problem I am having with my Diamond SupraExpress ISA modem is kinda strange (this is not the modem in the system specs below). Sometimes, when it connects on the internet, it stops downloading data. As a result of this, I cannot go on websites, download, ect... when this occurs. I have updated the drivers and the firmware of the modem, but its no use. I don't believe it is an isp problem because i had no problem with it on another computer. Any ideas about how to fix my problem?
