Hey Everyone,
Got kindof a wierd problem with my Logitech Cordless desktop Pro (curved wireless keyboard and non-optical mouse). Until now, I've been running the 2 connections through USB. This has worked well while running WindowsXP. However, I'm gonna be running Linux on that system soon, and so I want to put the keyboard and mouse back on the PS/2 ports. Sounds simple enough....but for some reason, here's the wierd quicks on workings:
- If the mouse is in USB and the keyboard is in the PS/2, both work
- With both in the PS/2, only the keyboard works.
- With both in the USB, they both work.
There's only 1 simple solution I can think of. I've got a good number of pointing devices running around, all of which are USB with PS/2 adapters. I moved recently, and i the shuffle, I think they all go t thrown in one tub. Would the wrong PS/2 adapter make the mouse now work?
Well, that's the story. Any help would be great. 🙂
Thanx in advance.
