Hi,
I just recently got a Dell 2405 LCD and it's hooked up to a pair of 6800GT's on a DVI port. Whenever the PC goes into a screensaver mode and I come back later and sit down to play a game the gamma changes like my game settings are being applied and then I lose my mouse pointer and KB functionality. The PC isn't locked up because I can use the Caps lock and it turns on and off. This didn't happen before I started to use the DVI ports. If I reboot the computer and fire up say World of Warcraft it works great.... but if I step away after quitting and try to start WoW in say an hour from that point I end up shutting my PC off and having to start over.
I'm thinking for some reason the wrong video port becomes active or somethign but I tried moving the connector to different ones.
Nothing changed on my pc when this started other than going from a CRT to LCD. I can play for hours without problems and as long as I actively use it it's fine.
