Wierd issue with Dreamscenes hack for Windows 7

I installed dreamscenes to have animated wallpaper. As a wierd side effect, the labels for all my desktop icons are 100% transparent. The only way you can read the text at all is because the shadows of the letters are there. Does anyone know how to change this?

Another oddity I noticed is that the background video pauses whenever a maximized window gets the focus (even on another monitor).
