on my x800xl I was getting 88 fps in CS : S video stress test, so I overclcoked it a tiny bit(5mhz-10) using smart doctor and made sure it is the same in ATItool, so I ran the test and got 92 fps, but then I tried to turn it back to default using smart doctor, and the whole screen got blurry and looked wierd for 10 seconds, then it didnt change, so I put it back to default using ATItool and restarted my comp. After the restart smart doctor worked again, so I ran the CS : S test with my x800xl at stock....still 92fps...I ran it several times same thing.

Is it permanently overclocked or something?

1280, All high, reflect all, 4x/16x, what about u at that setting? (i know my asus x800xl is underclocked my 10mhz compared to other x800xl so i shud be getting lower).

But that doesnt help my current problem :p

what about your video card driver setings? did you set them to performance from quality when you overclocked the card?

Framerates can vary by that much. It is normal. Consider the percent difference in 5mhz oc... its like a 1% oc and ur getting a 5% increase in frames. That really doesnt seem to correlate in my mind so well. 1% is typically next to no noticable difference. Look at this example: http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2500&p=3
You will notice that the difference coorelates better to the percentage that it is overclocked. Every 1% does not yield a 5% improvment. What am i saying? Im saying that you could not be even still oced at all! It may just be the difference in the two times u ran the game.

Also, if you uninstall the addon utilities it will return your card to normal. So just do this if you still cant figure it out. :)

Its at default, I used several programs to see the clock/memory, what has me confused is the scores, before this whole overclocking this my CS : S VST scores were 88, 88, 88,,88.....but now 92 everytime. Also in 3dmarks05 i wus always getting 4785 over and over, but now im getting 4840 over and over. Meh ill leave it be :p.
