We have a couple computers that are filling up completely, giving a low disk space warning, and then going back to normal five minutes later or so. You can see the hard drive emptying by clicking on and off the hard drive in My Computer by the GB. It isn't the normal solutions either, like the system restore filling up the hard drive. My assumption was Offline Files, but they are only set to take up a certain amount of space.

Has anyone else run into this problem and been able to resolve it? I talked to someone who also had this problem and was unable to figure out why this was happening, a reload of the OS solved the problem, but I would rather not do that if possible.

The problem was with offline files. What would happen is, for whatever reason, the users drive would not map correctly, and go to the root user share drive. The computer would then cache all the files in the drive, which filled up the local disk. I don't know why it cached so much though, most computers were set to a low limit ~2GB. I turned off offline files and we are looking at the log on scripts to see what we can find. The weird thing is that its not happening to all users, only a few. I'm still working on finding commonalities between the users.
