Has anyone else had the following the problem where the optical drive tray ejects by itself with nobody on the computer? The timing of this happening is random; sometimes the drive tray will eject several times in a minutes and then it will not happen again for hours. Also, it will sometimes eject and then go back in.
When I woke up this morning, the drive tray was open.
I have done a virus scan and looked for spyware, and the computer is clean. The programs in the task manager look normal. The drive is a Rosewill dual layer 16 DVD +- RW burner.
The other specs are:
Sempron (s754) 2600+
1 GB memory
2 Rosewill DVD burners
XFX 5900 XT
MSI motherboard with built in S3 Chrome graphics (not enabled)
Any ideas? 😕
