So every so often (every other boot), my options for Refresh rate and resolution disappear. I've switched monitors, same thing. Reinstalled drivers, same thing.

I recently bought a 5870 - could it be the card? I also bought a 5770 and this machine has no problems with said above.
 
It just gives me no other option to change to. Like on the 22" it's 1680x1050 & 60Hz and that's it. Same when I try my old 19" it just has 1280x1024 @ 60hz

I pluged both monitors into this machine and they both have, IIRC, never done that ???
