Wierd cruncher freeze

I've got a Q9300 rig with 8GB of DDR2 and a HD4850 512MB card in it.

It's been running pretty-much non-stop for a couple of months, I think.

I've been waking the screen up every few days, just to check on it.

When I went to wake it up just a little bit ago, it said that Skype had crashed, and I clicked on Close Program, and the window froze while it was fading out. Mouse still moved, couldn't C-A-D. Clicked on Task Manager icon in taskbar, and the mouse froze too.

Not sure what caused it. I rebooted, and CPU temps with BOINC running were around 62C on all four cores, more or less, so it wasn't overheating.

Is it overclocked? Maybe the overclock has gotten less stable as the computer's gotten older?

Or maybe you shouldn't run Windows continuously for a couple of months?
