I have a 233 MMX HP with 32 MB RAM.It was working fine yesterday and it was Ok.
But when I turned it on after one day, I can hear the Hard drive,Power supply working, but there is no screen. I tried to replace the power supply, but it was all the same,then I took out the cpu and replaced it with a 166 chip and it started OK. I thought it was the CPU so I bought a 233 MMX , it is brand new,so i put it in, but the amazing thing is that there is no screen even with this one.
What's going on here.If it is the motherboard then why is it working with a 166 and not 233 it's original factory CPU.
The motherboard is P55-233 Asus MB and the jumper setting are OK.
I really don't know what to do.
