Hi there

I have installed 3 windows 2000 servers in three different labs. Each network has its seperate and has its own server. They were working pretty well with win 2000 prof clients. I just switched the clients to win xp lately at all the 3 locations. By the way all the 3 locations have domains.
With XP nodes, it takes more than 5 minutes to connect to the domain users. And its happening at each location.

I am not running any heavy application on servers. It is just serving as DHCP server and maintains user accounts of the lab.

Has anyone faced similar problem? Win 2000 Advanced server and WIN XP workstations.

Please help

Thanks

I've had a similar problem before. Check your DNS settings on the 2k servers to make sure they are correct. I believe Microsoft has some info on TechNet about this sort of thing... I'll post a link if I can find one

[Edit] Here is a link to setting up DNS from Microsoft's website: Microsoft's Website
