Width of a traditional dual-slot graphics card

Hi everybody,

I'm working on a project and need to find the dimension of the width of a typical dual-slot graphics card (unfortunately I don't have one here with me) I think a typical PCI backplate is .75", and the distance between two PCI slots is .8", so I'd think it's 1.55" wide. Can anyone confirm this with a ruler or pair of calipers?

Thanks!

Apologies, that is the measurement for the width of the top (securing bracket part). The middle cross-section is 38mm wide.

Unfortunately I don't have any calipers here.
