Just got a new widesreen veiwsonic vx2025wm and i went to play css and it only has a 1600X1200 option. any way to get 1680X1050? thanks

Do you have your monitor drivers installed?

What connection type are you using?

Lastly, select the 16:10 aspect ratio...(not sure if this is what allows that resolution or if that has no effect on the available resolutions)

In CSS look for aspect ratio.

Change it to 16:10 and then recheck the res options.

Isn't there an option to changet the aspect ratio/WS or not WS?

Yeah Half Life's engine has the easiest options for WS Support, you just chhose a 16:10 Aspect ratio.

CSS on the Viewsonic VX2025 = awesome

BF2 = cool...stupid EA/Dice not properly supporting it

Far Cry = Cool, but a pain to get it going right

Those are the only onees I have tried thus far...and all I can say, is I love my VX2025...its awesome. I'll never go with a 5:4/4:3 monitor again (if I can avoid it)

I just got a 19" widescreen Hyundai ImageQuest and it's amazing. It's a hassle to set some games up for widescreen resolutions, like SWAT 4 and Battlefield 2, but it's worth it not to have tunnel vision.
